On 11 November 2015, my brother and I brought our team to FLP Realty. In almost 11 years here I have won and I have lost, and later I began to lead. This page is my own experience, and my own view.

Why her

What decided it was a person who does what she says.

In 2014, while I was at GS Realty, I met Fallon Loo Kah Cheng, Founder & CEO of FLP Realty. I have called her Fallon-jie ever since (jie is a Chinese form of address that carries both respect and warmth). After my brother and I moved into new projects, we decided in 2015 to follow her.

My reason for choosing her was simple: she keeps her word. In my experience, what she said she would do, she did.

Two things she said have stayed with me:

“I want to make 100 real estate millionaires.”

These are things I remember her saying. They are not FLP Realty’s promise, and not my promise to you: in this business, no one can promise that you will become rich. What moved me was never the word “millionaire”. It was that she treated other people’s success as her own.

She keeps her word
What she promised, she delivered. I followed her because I could trust her.
She widened my thinking
She showed me this work could be bigger, and could go further.
She showed me my blind spots
There were things I couldn’t see in myself. She made me see them.
She broadened my outlook
On people, on leadership, on business: my view opened up, little by little, beside hers.

She has given me far more than a platform. She is the mentor who changed the course of my life.

From being led to leading

She develops people. In time, I began to do the same.

If it weren’t for FLP Realty, and for Fallon-jie, I might still be the introverted homebody I was. Every day I came home and shut myself in my room; my longest companions were my computer and my camera. The friends I had truly made through photography numbered five.

Later, I stood up on stage, hosted the weekly meeting, and began to lead people.

My team and I joined FLP Realty and began working on new projects.
2016 – 2021

Winning, and losing

I fell behind the market and hit a low; Top Advisor of the Year 2019 · Champion; down to the bottom again in the pandemic; Top Advisor of the Year 2021 · 8th Place.
2016.09 – 2022

Hosting the weekly meeting

From September 2016 to 2022, I hosted FLP Realty’s weekly meeting. An introvert, standing up in front of everyone every week.
2018 to now

Sharing and teaching for partners

Since 2018, I have shared and taught at FLP Realty’s weekly meetings many times.

Starting to lead a team

From then on, my record carried more of my team’s names and results than my own.

The same stage, four new years.

Since 2017 I have photographed FLP Realty’s headquarters every year. The same stage is dressed anew for each Chinese New Year and each Christmas, and every time it changes, I photograph it again. Through my lens, I have watched this place change, year after year.

You would be a real estate negotiator at FLP Realty, working full-time under the direction and supervision of the firm’s registered estate agent. You start practising only once you hold your REN registration.
